The Main Street America Program is a nationally recognized initiative that helps historic downtowns and commercial districts revitalize and preserve their economic and cultural vitality. The program operates under four key principles—Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion, and Organization—which guide local efforts to create sustainable, thriving business districts while maintaining their historic integrity.
The Main Street Nevada Program follows these same principles at the state level, supporting local Main Street organizations across Nevada by providing funding, guidance, and best practices to ensure long-term success.
How the Virginia City Main Street Program Fits In
